Welcome to Daedal Macabre, we try to keep a semi-serious roleplaying
environment here, and we ask that your names be appropriate to that. Below
is a list of guidelines to help you in choosing an appropriate name. If your
name is not acceptable, you will be approached by an immortal, and asked to
rename. 

1) No names from popular culture (books, movies, video games etc)
2) No names from history or myth
3) No offensive names (Hitler, etc)
4) No backwards names ( Ezoob or Tiwmid for example)
5) No compound names (Deathknight, or Dreamwraith)
6) No names which are words (Idiot, Gore, Kleptos, etc)

While some names with meaning were exempted from rule 6 because of rp, or
grandfather clausing (the name having predated the name rules) with the
advent of the name checking dictionary in creation that exemption has been
removed for new names. If, for some reason you have a name in mind which you
think may break the name rules and yet still make it through the dictionary,
consult with imms _before_ creating the character.
