How I create a character?

BASIC COMMANDS
MOVING AROUND:
look, exit, scan, open [direction], north, south, east, west, up, down
COMMUNICATING WITH OTHER PLAYERS:
tell, gossip, OOC, say
to see help file about channels just type out channels when online.
COLLECTING ITEMS:
inventory, get, drop, give, put, take
YOUR POSITION:
stand, wake, sit, rest, sleep
BUYING THINGS AT SHOPS:
list = lists items you may buy
worth = see how much you have money
buy (item)
sell (item)
FOOD AND WATER
drink (item), eat (item), fill (item),pour (item) out
If there is a fountain in same room where you are standing, then you only have to type drink. No object item needed)
If your drinking container gets poisoned, pour it out and refill it.
FIGHTING
Kill, hit, flee. Remember to use consider command if you are not sure how powerful foe you are meeting.
EQUIPMENT
equipment, wear, remove, remove all, wear all
PETS
You should buy yourself a pet, they help you fight, may hold some items for you, wear some equipment and actually LEVEL too. Pet store is located to: recall, 6s, 2e, n. (There are many different kind of pet stores all over the game.)
WHERE I LEVEL?
You may level in academy (recall: u,2n,w,2n,w,d) till you hit level 6. Don't forget to train and practice. Those can be done at your guild master. Check maps and see where your guild hall is located. Or if you don't want to kill, there are other ways of leveling, questing, fishing...
DEATH/DYING
If you die, you will turn to a ghost. But no worries. Town Healer Trevio will resurrect you for free if you are below level 10. Trevio is standing just north of recall. If you are more than level 10 it will cost you some gold. Try to get your equipment back before resurrecting (ghosts can't die again). If you can't remember where or how to get there, ask other players for help.

HOW TO GET GOLD?
I list some ways of getting money, not great sums of money.
1. If you take rich perk, it will take away your money worries for good.
2. Collect everything you can find on the ground and sell them. Armors at armory, weapons at weapons shop etc(look maps)
3. Sphere of Intellect you find from academy beast is worth quite many gold pieces.
4. Get fishing stick from fisher store (recall,6s,2e,s,w) and some worms. Then go e,s at the river and start fishing (wear stick, fish worm). Sell fishes just cross the street to fisher store. This will give you also fishpoints and exp.
5. There are many rich people around, just ask for some gold :D
6. Questing gives you gold. About 50 gold per quest and it's pretty easy to quest when level 10..lower a little harder
7. Sell everything you find on mobs. Elemental canyon has many item mobs.
YOUR CHARACTER
These commands give you information about your character and pet. Score, examine self, examine pet, skill all, spell all, info
SOME AREAS
Once you are around level 6 you need to find some stronger mobiles to slay. Here are some popular newbie areas with directions:
Elemental canyon: recall, 3s, 7e, 4s, 2e, 1s, 2e, 1d, 1s, 2u, buy anti, quaff anti, 2u, 1n, 1d (for levels 5-30)
Warehouse Commune: Recall: 6s, 4w, s, e (for levels 5-15)
Kender Village: recall, 3s, 8e, north (for levels 1-10)
Obsidian Fortress: recall, 3s, 8e, 14n (for levels 1-50)
The Zoo of Ala'bara: recall, south till muddy grounds, 2west, open north (for levels 15-35)
